We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team.
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our expanding healthcare organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of key financial processes, partnering across multiple facilities, and helping drive continuous improvements in financial reporting and operational efficiency.
The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in financial reporting, analysis, and process enhancement while collaborating closely with the Accounting Team and organizational leadership.
Financial Reporting & Internal Controls
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for multiple locations
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to executive leadership
Manage intercompany accounting transactions and eliminations
Support annual audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
Assist with general ledger management and day-to-day accounting operations
Prepare monthly accruals, reconciliations, and financial analyses
Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal and multi-state regulations
Maintain accurate documentation and support audit and compliance requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
Experience supporting multi-state operations, payroll accounting, or commission structures
Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct preferred
Healthcare or long-term care industry experience preferred
