RN Unit Manager
About the Role:
Washington Square Nursing & Rehab, an 83-bed skilled nursing facility located in Warren, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Unit Manager for the evening shift to join our team. As a leader in long-term care, we strive to provide a warm and welcoming environment for our residents, while also fostering a culture of growth and development for our employees.
Responsibilities:
Ensure 24-hour provision of nursing services within federal, state, and company requirements based on acuity of residents
Maintain standards of nursing services within the expectation of the Nurse Practice Act
Ensure exchange of essential information necessary for the provision of quality resident services
Ensure that all documentation necessary for quality resident care is maintained according to federal, state, and company policy
Review daily assignments with Director of Nursing Services, RN Supervisors, and Charge Nurses
Monitor nursing personnel performance
Make daily rounds, identify problems, initiate corrective actions, and monitor follow-up
Support the overall goals of the company and facility
Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
RN Unit Manager licensure in the state of Ohio
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a long-term care setting
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
