The Superintendent ensures that the project is built on time and under budget by promoting productivity and cooperation among the construction team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation.
- Provide a clean working environment and ensure safety standards per company Best Practices and OSHA standards are implemented at job-sites.
- Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend blueprints and specification manuals.
- Uphold high customer service standards in a professional manner through personal leadership, managed employees, and sub-contractors.
- Astute ability to eliminate problems amongst staff and adhere to the situational facts while managing field staff problems.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of Procore.
- ( 3-5 ) years of experience as a construction superintendent, supervisor or lead workers in commercial construction, ground up, tenant improvements, retail, hospitality.
- Ground up experience
- OSHA certified
Physical Demands
- Must be able to work walking and/or standing for the scheduled workday.
- Must be able to lift up to (70) lb.
- Flexibility in work hours. May be required to work occasional Saturday and/or evening hours based on project schedule.
- Willingness to travel including some overnight travel
