Job Summary
Grace House is seeking compassionate, dependable Recovery Support Staff to join our team for 2nd shift and overnight positions. This role is essential in supporting individuals in early recovery from substance use disorders by providing transportation, medication observation, emotional support, and general client care. Recovery Support Staff help maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment, playing a vital role in each client’s recovery journey. Ideal candidates are calm under pressure, team-oriented, and passionate about making a positive impact. Students and emerging professionals are welcome!
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and timely client transportation
- Pick up medications and observe self-administration
- Offer de-escalation, emotional support, and engagement
- Assist with daily/nightly client needs
- Organize and inventory program supplies
- Shop for and distribute client essentials
- Accurately document client interactions and concerns
- Complete thorough end-of-shift reports
- Conduct crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
- Mentor clients by offering guidance, support, and resources tailored to their individual needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check

Pay: $21.50 - $22.50 per hour
