Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Worship Leader to inspire and lead our congregation in vibrant praise and worship experiences. This vital role involves guiding musical worship, fostering spiritual growth through music, and managing the overall musical atmosphere during church services and special events. The ideal candidate will possess strong musical skills, leadership qualities, and a heart dedicated to nurturing faith through music. As a Worship Leader, you will play a key role in creating an uplifting environment that encourages community, spiritual reflection, and joyful praise.
Duties
- Lead congregational singing during Sunday church services, ensuring an engaging and spiritually enriching experience.
- Select appropriate praise and worship music that aligns with Church teachings.
- Work with youth and adult members interested in participating in worship.
- Oversee the setup and management of musical instruments, sound equipment, and multimedia presentations.
- Collaborate with ministry leaders to integrate music seamlessly into worship programs.
Skills
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- Experience in church service musical performance is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read sheet music and play musical instruments such as piano or guitar.
- Skilled in vocal training, vocal music techniques, and mentoring singers for improved performance.
- Excellent communication skills to lead services and work with Church council and congregation members.
- Understanding of religious leadership principles within a nonprofit faith-based organization setting.
- Ability to select appropriate music that enhances worship while respecting theological themes.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, dedication, and spiritual enthusiasm among musicians and congregation members.
