Duties
- Greet customers warmly, assist with their laundry needs, and answer questions about services offered
- Operate garment care machines including pressing machines, dryers, washers, and fabric care equipment with precision and safety
- Handle heavy lifting of laundry loads and manual handling of garments to ensure proper processing and safety compliance
- Process cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties at the point of sale
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by cleaning machines, workstations, and surrounding areas using appropriate cleaning detergents
- Perform garment finishing tasks such as garment pressing, dry cleaning preparation, and garment care to ensure high-quality results
- Monitor and operate pressing machines safely while adhering to fabric care knowledge and safety protocols
- Assist in the processing of laundry orders efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction through attentive service
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is highly desirable for understanding customer service excellence
- Familiarity with garment finishing, pressing, dry cleaning, or laundry operations is a strong plus
- Knowledge of fabric care techniques and garment care machine operation enhances service quality
- Experience with cleaning procedures, workspace maintenance, and using cleaning detergents ensures a hygienic environment
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting of laundry loads
- Basic math skills are necessary for processing transactions accurately and managing inventory or supplies
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in a fast-paced setting
