Columbia Basin Hospital is seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our Laboratory team. In this role, you'll perform a variety of laboratory testing procedures that provide accurate, timely results essential to patient diagnosis and treatment. - Perform routine laboratory testing in multiple laboratory disciplines.

Collect patient specimens through capillary, venipuncture, and arterial puncture techniques.

Register patients and ensure accurate specimen identification and documentation.

Perform phlebotomy and laboratory assistant duties as needed.

Rotate through laboratory sections, including weekend and evening shifts as assigned.

Participate in on-call coverage to support emergency laboratory services.

Maintain quality standards while providing accurate and timely test results.
Position Highlights

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 30 hours per week, typically mid-shift

Associate's degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or technical science in medical laboratory technology, to include one year of clinical internship.

Current Washington State Medical Assistant Phlebotomist certification.

Current BLS certification or ability to obtain certification within one week of hire.

Ability to practice within legal and ethical guidelines and provide compassionate care for patients across the age continuum.
