Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, with experience in operating tractor-trailers. This role involves ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Duties
- Operate a tractor-trailer in a safe and professional manner.
- Execute route driving to deliver goods efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Navigate routes effectively using GPS or maps while being aware of road conditions.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during operation.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers and flatbeds is advantageous.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in freight transportation is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of route driving principles and logistics management.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,700.00 per week
