Cary Veterinary Hospital is seeking to hire a full-time receptionist to join our team!
- The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, is reliable, eager to learn, professional, and compassionate. Strong computer literacy is needed for success in this role. The position is available for immediate hire. PREVIOUS VETERINARY EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
· Compassionately greeting all incoming clients and helping them with their pets
· Answering phones
· Client Education - vaccinations, heartworm preventatives, flea & tick preventatives, food, etc.
· Correspondence with clients
· Scheduling appointments accurately and appropriately.
· Checking clients in and out.
· Maintaining a clean work environment.
· Assisting administrators in office tasks
· Promptly answering emails and faxes
· Understanding and following hospital protocol
· Accurately invoicing
· Cash Handling
Candidates must possess excellent customer service and communication skills (with clients and co-workers), be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment. This position requires very strong computer skills.
Weekend availability on a weekly rotating basis is required. Avimark experience is a plus!
