Upholds CECs beliefs found on the CEC website.
Transports students to and from the school and related activities safely and efficiently. Supervises loading and unloading of buses. Oversees simulated or actual emergency evacuations of school bus as required.
Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required. Maintains accurate and up-to-date transportation paperwork.
Maintains bus cleanliness and orderly appearance including washing vehicles on a regular basis and removing trash.
Identifies and reports mechanical malfunctions to the Director of Transportation. Performs routine maintenance of the bus.
Keeps current with Colorado Rules and Regulations Governing Operation of School Transportation Vehicles.
Ensures that all safety rules and regulations are followed.
Successfully completes road skills test and written evaluations.
Participates in professional development as requested by the Director of Transportation.
Other duties as assigned.
