This role is customer-facing and requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and comfort with firearms. You’ll assist customers in choosing the right firearm, handle NFA paperwork, navigate our POS system, and help keep the store running smoothly.

Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection, explain product features, and process sales
- Complete/review NFA paperwork with accuracy and compliance
- Maintain accurate inventory through restocking and audits
- Log incoming firearms and unload pallets
- Complete shipping and delivery duties daily, reporting any order discrepancies
- Handle customer service calls, texts, and emails promptly and professionally
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives quickly; follow up to ensure resolution
- Create and update listings for firearms, NFA items, and related accessories
- Keep store clean, organized, and customer-ready
- Support management with additional front-of-house or operational duties
- Take the extra mile to engage customers, maintaining healthy customer relations & retention
Recommended Skills & Experience
- Basic familiarity with Counterpoint or willingness to learn
- Gunsmithing experience
- Previous sales/customer service experience in retail
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to troubleshoot, research, and provide accurate information
Requirements
- Proficiency with firearms and firearm knowledge
- Pass a background check and drug test
- High school degree or equivalent
- 1+ years of job experience
- Able to work 2-5 days a week
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Friendly and willing to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
- Are not under indictment or information in any court for a felony or other crime for which the judge could imprison you for more than one year
- Have never been convicted in any court of a felony or other crime for which the judge could imprison you for more than one year
- Are not a fugitive from justice
- Are not an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance
- Have never been adjudicated as a mental defective or been committed to a mental institution
- Have never been discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions
- Are not subject to a court order restraining you from harassing, stalking, or threatening your child or intimate partner
- Have never been convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence
- Have never renounced your United States citizenship
- Are not an alien illegally or unlawfully in the United States
