Prosegur Security is seeking a professional and customer service–focused Unarmed Security Officer. This role emphasizes physical patrol duties, gate and access control, and providing a safe and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and property.
Officers must demonstrate exceptional customer service and maintain a professional appearance by adhering to company grooming and uniform standards.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols to identify and deter safety hazards, security risks, and unauthorized access.

Manage access control points, including gate operations and badge checks, to ensure authorized entry.

Observe and report suspicious activity, incidents, or safety hazards promptly.

Deliver excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors with professionalism and courtesy.

Follow established site and company procedures, complying with all client and company policies.

Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.

Respond promptly and calmly to emergencies, disturbances, and client requests.

Collaborate with the security team and site management to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Consistently maintain a clean, professional appearance and grooming standards.
Qualifications:

Must have a valid California Security Guard License.

Must be able to operate a company vehicle.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Exceptional customer service skills are absolutely required.

Minimum 1 year of security experience.

Willingness to learn and operate multiple security systems confidently with provided training.

Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, including during varied weather conditions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Must have reliable transportation.
