Repair Technician — Residential Roofing | Parkesburg, PA (Chester / Lancaster County)
Full-Time | $25–$35/hr (Negotiable) + 4% Performance Bonus on qualified jobs — Techs Earn an Additional $300–$800/Month in Bonuses
About the Role
We're hiring an experienced Repair Technician to join our growing roofing team based out of Parkesburg, PA. This is a customer-facing, hands-on role for someone who can confidently diagnose roofing issues, communicate clearly with homeowners, and get the work done right the first time. You won't be cold-knocking or chasing leads — we provide 2–3 qualified, pre-scheduled appointments per day so you can focus on what you do best: inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing.
Service Area: Approximately one-hour radius from our Parkesburg shop, covering Chester/lancaster County and surrounding areas in PA, DE, and MD.
What You'll Do
- Meet with homeowners at scheduled appointments to assess roofing concerns
- Conduct thorough attic and roof inspections to identify the source of leaks, damage, or wear
- Diagnose needed repairs and clearly explain findings to the customer
- Present pricing and close the sale on-site
- Perform same-day repairs when possible, or schedule a return visit for larger jobs
- Document inspections with photos, notes, and written estimates
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent the company with integrity
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on roofing experience (repairs, replacements, or service work)
- Strong diagnostic skills — able to find the real problem, not just the obvious one
- Comfortable working in attics and on roofs of varying pitches
- Customer-friendly communication; able to explain technical issues in plain language
- Sales aptitude — confident presenting pricing and earning the homeowner's trust
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable, self-managed, and able to run a route independently
- Willing to travel within a one-hour radius of Parkesburg
- Ability to pass a drug and background check
Bonus Points
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience with multiple roofing systems (asphalt, metal, tile, flat/low-slope)
- Previous role as a service tech, lead tech, Foremen or estimator
Compensation & Benefits
- $25–$35/hr based on experience and skill — open to negotiating for the right person
- 4% performance bonus on every job that meets our margin target — our techs typically earn an additional $300–$800 per month on top of their regular wages
