Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of food items efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales transactions, and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas following food safety regulations
- Manage food inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with food handling procedures
- Support quick service operations by bussing tables, clearing orders, and ensuring a smooth flow during busy hours
- Assist in training new team members on food preparation techniques, POS operation, and customer service protocols
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, or café environments with a focus on fast-paced service
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly without compromising quality
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction
- Experience with cashiering, cash handling, and basic math for accurate transactions
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities
- Prior retail math or grocery store experience is a plus for inventory management and sales tracking
