The Provider Placement Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the coordination of the human resource functions, as delegated by the Human Resource Director, in accordance with state, federal, and local regulations.
Education: High School Graduate or equivalency, or previous experience with general office duties or business related courses.
Experience: Two years general office experience or phone recruiting experience; human resources experience preferred.
Skills: Knowledge of personnel regulations preferred; computer skills required; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Promotes the philosophy, mission and administrative policies of the Agency by presenting a positive image.
Supports human resource functions by assisting in the facilitation of the hiring process to include recruitment, initial applicant screening, interviewing, reference checks, administering required examination(s), license verification, and criminal history checks.
Assists in the maintenance of personnel files according to regulations by obtaining the required documents.
Assists the HR Director in the orientation process to include completion of required human resources documents, name tags/badges, and employee training/education of personnel policies. Assist applicants with the hire packet in the office setting.
Assists the HR Director in promoting compliance with all state and federal labor and personnel regulations (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA, Department of Labor etc.).
Schedule/Coordinate hiring and orienting in the field with providers, clients and supervisors.
Update tracking systems for pairing clients with providers and communicating with PAS coordinators to avoid missed visits and service breaks.
Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills to foster and promote a culture of open communication and teamwork.
Performs other duties as required.
