JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ocean Sotheby’s International Realty in the Florida Keys is seeking a full-time, salaried in-house Photographer/Videographer to help launch and grow our in-house production department. This role is responsible for capturing and editing high-quality property photography, video, and social media content across the Florida Keys.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in real estate content creation, including professional stills, cinematic video, drone operations (as permitted/required), and strong post-production skills for images, videos, and reels. Full-time employment is contingent upon satisfactory photo shoots.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Capture professional still photography for residential and luxury real estate listings, including interior/exterior composition and lighting optimization.
- Produce and deliver high-quality listing videos, including walkthroughs, highlight reels, and property storytelling tailored to the Sotheby’s brand.
- Operate drone equipment for aerial photography/video when applicable and in accordance with all applicable FAA rules, company policies, and site requirements.
- Create social media–ready content, including reels and short-form edits optimized for major platforms.
- Perform full editing and retouching, including:
- Color correction, lighting balance, image optimization, and retouching as needed
- Video editing for listing deliverables and social content
- Exporting deliverables in platform-appropriate formats and resolutions
- Ensure brand consistency across all production work and adhere to internal quality standards.
- Plan and execute shoots efficiently, including arrival timing, shot lists, and coordination with agents and listing schedules.
- Coordinate on-site needs as necessary (property access timing, staging adjustments when requested, and capturing any required details).
- Maintain equipment and gear readiness, including basic maintenance and organization of files/backups.
- Work across the Florida Keys to capture properties on-site as scheduled.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- This is not entry-level. Candidates must demonstrate prior experience producing professional real estate photos and videos.
- Portfolio required: Applicants must provide a portfolio (link or downloadable examples) showing:
Still photography work
Video work (listing or walkthrough samples)
Drone work (preferred/required depending on licensing; examples must be included)
Editing quality, including reels/short-form content
- Proficiency with professional gear and workflows, including DSLR/mirrorless cameras and standard real estate capture practices.
- Strong editing background for:
Image editing/retouching (e.g., Lightroom/Photoshop or equivalent)
Video editing (e.g., Premiere Pro/Final Cut Pro/DaVinci Resolve or equivalent)
Reels/short-form production and export workflows
- Drone capability (preferred/required): Ability to operate a drone legally and safely. (Licensing/credentials should be included in the application.)
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with agents, coordinators, and leadership, including clear feedback loops and timely delivery of edits.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the Florida Keys to capture properties as needed.
- Professional presence and a dependable, organized work ethic.
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
