The Role: Meat Order Readiness Associate
The Meat Order Readiness Associate is responsible for processing, packing, and labeling meat products while maintaining quality, safety, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Process meat including packing, and labeling
- Conduct QA on raw and finished materials
- Follow safe food handling and food safety practices
- Pick food products and pack in boats, totes, and boxes
- Scan labels, load packaging machines, and apply printed labels
- Spot-check packaged items for correct labeling and accuracy
- Assist with daily departmental shutdown procedures
What You’ll Bring
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
- Ability to start overnight or early morning shifts
- Comfortable working 8–12 hour shifts based on business needs
- Experience in a related field is a plus
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Ability to work in cold temperatures (20–38°F)
- Ability to twist, turn, bend, and stand for long periods
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Understanding of production workflows and operational processes
