JOB The City of Kenosha Department of Parks manages all city parks and beaches, two public swimming pools, and numerous additional recreational facilities. The department provides diverse recreational opportunities while preserving parks and open spaces. Our mission is to deliver essential recreational programs and cultural services in a safe, professional, and welcoming environment.
Schedule: Approximately 48 hours per week, Tuesday through Sunday, including evenings and weekends, contingent on weather and operational needs. Assignments may occur at either pool location as required.
Please note that City employees (including seasonal employees) may only be employed in one department/division at any one given time. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Under the direction of the Lifeguard Manager, and/or designee, the Pool Attendant is responsible for customer service, processing transactions, handling cash, maintaining the counter area, performing cleaning and maintenance of facilities and grounds, supervising the top of slides, and performing other duties as assigned. Essential Duties:

Collect and process payments for sales transactions.

Provide courteous and professional customer service to the public.

Collaborate effectively with supervisors and fellow employees.

Perform cleaning and maintenance of pool facilities and grounds.

Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.

Follow all policies, procedures, and operational guidelines established by the Department.

Perform other duties as assigned.
