We are looking for a Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our team in our clinic Little Stars Pediatrics located in Prosper, Texas.
Ideal Candidate is who has previous experience as a medical assistant and willing to advance in their field, we are looking for a person who is outgoing, detailed oriented, self-motivated, efficient at multi-tasking, and has exceptional customer service skills.
· Medical Office Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
· Vital Signs Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
· Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
- Giving Vaccines and Maintaining Vaccine Chart

Core Job responsibilities but not limited to
- Greeting Patients in a friendly and welcoming manner, rooming them in and taking vitals
- Preparing the patient for visit by doing age appropriate pre visit questionnaire and getting appropriate history
- Cleaning the room appropriately after patient leaves, having stock inventory and stocking up the room as needed
- Administer vaccines, maintaining temperature log for VFC vaccines and vaccine inventory
- Able to do point of care testing for covid, flu, strep
- Assist physician in procedures like suture removal, ear piercing and ear lavage.
- Able to help with prior authorizations, referrals and carry out physician’s order when discharging the patient
- Able to do telephone triage and carry out physician’s order.
