What We Offer

Responsibilities
As a Foreman, you'll be responsible for leading your crew safely while meeting production goals and maintaining exceptional quality.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and motivate a construction crew with a positive attitude
- Conduct daily morning safety and production meetings
- Maintain a safe jobsite and ensure all OSHA safety requirements are followed
- Perform trench safety inspections and confined space documentation when required
- Coordinate daily work with the Superintendent
- Communicate professionally with inspectors, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners
- Schedule truck deliveries and material needs
- Train and mentor crew members
- Maintain a three-day look-ahead schedule
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are organized and ready
- Keep company truck clean and properly maintained
- Ensure equipment is cleaned and greased regularly
- Complete daily reports, timecards, production quantities, cost coding, and job documentation using HeavyJob
- Take daily project photos
- Keep jobsites clean, organized, and productive
- Meet or exceed production goals while maintaining quality and safety

- Has experience leading heavy civil construction crews
- Understands underground utilities, excavation, grading, and site development
- Leads with integrity and accountability
- Communicates clearly with crews and management
- Takes ownership of project success

- Enjoys coaching and developing others
- Has strong organizational and planning skills
- Can solve problems in the field and keep projects moving
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Heavy Civil Foreman
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate construction equipment is preferred
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
