Huntingdon Children’s School is a family-owned, nature-based preschool in Abington, PA. We are seeking Certified Early Childhood Educators to join our growing team across multiple classroom roles.
We are looking for experienced, credentialed educators who are confident in the classroom, skilled in curriculum implementation, and committed to building strong partnerships with families.
Responsibilities
- Implement and follow developmentally appropriate early childhood curriculum
- Create and maintain a structured, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and positive guidance techniques
- Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Communicate professionally and effectively with parents and caregivers
- Collaborate with teaching teams and school leadership
- Maintain compliance with Pennsylvania DHS regulations and school policies
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive learning environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare or early learning facility
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Comfortable engaging with families and participating in parent communication
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Required / Preferred Credentials
Candidates must hold one or more of the following:
- Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field
- Pennsylvania teaching certification (preferred)
All candidates must be able to obtain and maintain Pennsylvania DHS clearances and required verifications.
