Make a Difference Every Day
Do you love working with toddlers? Are you the kind of teacher who gets excited about first words, first friendships, messy art projects, dance parties, and helping little ones discover the world around them?
We're looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Toddler Teacher to join our preschool family! We believe children learn best through love, play, exploration, and meaningful relationships—and we're looking for someone who shares that philosophy.
At our school, you'll be part of a supportive team that values collaboration, respect, and creating a positive environment for both children and teachers. With a 6:1 teacher-to-child ratio, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with each child while providing quality care and education.
What You'll Do
- Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom for toddlers (18 months–2 years).
- Plan and implement fun, hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.
- Foster children's social, emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
- Maintain active supervision and ensure a safe, organized classroom environment.
- Communicate daily with families about their child's learning and development.
- Collaborate with your teaching team to create a positive school culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 ECE/CD units (official transcripts required).
- At least 1 year of experience working in a licensed preschool or childcare setting.
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Strong understanding of child development and positive classroom management.
- Dependable, nurturing, patient, and a collaborative team player.
- A genuine passion for helping young children learn, grow, and thrive.
What We Offer
- Competitive pay: $18.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Full-time position.
- Low 6:1 teacher-to-child ratio that allows teachers to focus on quality interactions and individualized care.
- Paid sick leave following the introductory employment period.
- One week (40 hours) of paid vacation after one year of employment.
- Paid holidays.
- A supportive leadership team that values communication, teamwork, and professional growth.
- A positive, respectful workplace where teachers are appreciated and encouraged to succeed.
We'd Love to Meet Someone Who...
- Loves working with toddlers and understands their unique developmental needs.
- Brings positive energy, patience, and creativity to the classroom every day.
- Is dependable, organized, and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Takes pride in creating a nurturing, engaging environment where children feel safe and loved.
- Wants to make a meaningful impact during a child's most important years of development.
If you're looking for more than just a job and want to become part of a preschool community that values its teachers as much as its students, we'd love to hear from you.
