About Us: The LEAP Clinic is a small pediatric psychology practice dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to children, teens, and families. What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a talented licensed therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist) who:
- Specializes in Working with Children and Families: You’re passionate about helping young clients—from preschoolers to adolescents—develop emotional awareness, resilience, and coping skills, while also supporting parents and caregivers in their roles.
- Understands Highly Sensitive and Neurodivergent Youth: You bring empathy and clinical expertise to working with children and teens who experience the world intensely, and are confident in helping families understand and support their unique needs.
- Uses Strength-Based Approaches: You focus on identifying and building upon each child’s and family’s strengths to foster connection and confidence.
- Communicates with Compassion: You create safe, non-judgmental spaces for children and families to feel seen, heard, and supported.
- Values Collaboration: You enjoy being part of a team that shares knowledge, supports one another, and is committed to ongoing learning.
Your Role:
- Provide individual and family therapy to children and adolescents, with a focus on emotional regulation, social skills, anxiety, and behavior challenges.
- Offer parent support sessions to help caregivers implement strategies that reinforce growth at home.
- Run groups or workshops for children or parents on relevant topics such as managing big feelings, setting boundaries, or supporting sensitive kids.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and best practices.
- Engage in professional development to stay current with evidence-based approaches to child and family therapy.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Licensed in Pennsylvania.
- Experience or specialized training in working with highly sensitive and/or neurodivergent children and adolescents.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in your clinical work.
