Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Behavior Analyst to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will lead behavioral assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide expert supervision for behavior intervention programs. Your expertise will help foster positive behavioral change, support families, and promote independence through evidence-based practices such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral psychological assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations for clients with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on data collection and analysis to promote skill acquisition and reduce problematic behaviors.
- Provide clinical supervision to behavior technicians and staff, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and best practices in behavioral health.
- Perform patient assessments, coordinate intake processes, and facilitate initial consultations to determine client needs and service eligibility.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to track progress and inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and medical professionals to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans across all environments.
- Maintain accurate medical records, documentation of interventions, progress notes, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children with disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, functional assessments, and behavior intervention strategies.
- Proficiency in data collection methods, medical terminology, medical documentation, and medical records management.
- Ability to perform behavioral health assessments including functional behavior assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations.
- Experience working in diverse settings such as home-based environments or schools with children who have disabilities.
- Excellent client communication skills to effectively engage with clients’ families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Clinical supervision experience is preferred to guide behavior technicians or junior staff effectively.
