Part-Time Pediatric Triage Nurse (RN/LPN)

Our established, independent pediatric primary care practice is seeking a compassionate, experienced Part-Time Pediatric Triage Nurse to provide exceptional telephone and electronic triage for our patients and families.

Position Details
- Part-time (approximately 24 hours per week)
- Daytime weekday hours (primarily Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday)
- No evenings or major holidays
- Supportive, team-oriented work environment
Responsibilities
- Provide telephone and patient portal triage using evidence-based protocols
- Assess symptoms and determine appropriate level of care
- Educate parents and caregivers on home care and treatment plans
- Coordinate care with pediatric providers and clinical staff
- Schedule appropriate appointments and follow-up as needed
- Process medication refill requests, laboratory results, and other clinical communications
- Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record
Qualifications
- Current Colorado RN or LPN license
- Pediatric nursing experience preferred
- Previous telephone triage experience is a plus
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent customer service and ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred
