Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated OVER 18 Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that each guest has a memorable experience at our café.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the Clover POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including food preparation areas, equipment, and dining spaces.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of boba, supplies, and food items.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Perform basic math calculations for order totals and cash transactions.
Skills
- Previous barista experience or coffee experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly environment for guests.
- Familiarity with Clover POS systems is a plus.
- Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques in the food industry.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
