Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Truck Laborer/Helper to assist with delivering and stocking drywall, insulation, steel studs, ceiling tile, and other building materials at residential and commercial job sites. This is a physically demanding position that requires teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Assist the truck driver with loading and unloading building materials.
- Carry and stock drywall, steel studs, insulation, ceiling tile, and related products inside customer job sites.
- Safely transport materials up stairs and throughout buildings as needed.
- Verify deliveries for accuracy and ensure materials are placed in the correct locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service to contractors and builders.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry 80–100+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Construction or building material experience is a plus, but not required.
- Forklift experience is a plus (training available).
