I. Position Summary: Directs, plans, and organizes faith formation programs for children, youth, and adults. Coordinates sacramental preparation programs in collaboration with parish or regional groups and individuals.
II. Essential Functions:

Collaborates with the pastor, staff, and parish councils to fulfill the parish mission.

Ensures the planning and implementation of a comprehensive faith formation program for all ages.

Directs sacramental preparation programs: OCIA, OCIA adapted for children, infant baptism, children's sacraments, adult Confirmation, Eucharist, and Reconciliation.

Plans and implements additional programs: parent groups, men's groups, marriage preparation, school programs, workshops, and special events.

Attends and leads planning meetings related to faith formation events and objectives.

Develops and teaches courses and classes as appropriate.

Directs the faith formation office and supervises staff and volunteers assisting with activities and administration.

Recruits, trains, and supports volunteers for faith formation programs.

Manages the faith formation budget.

Purchases and distributes materials and equipment necessary for formation programs.

Oversees accurate maintenance of program records.

Participates in community and parish meetings to promote faith formation objectives and activities.
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
