Position Overview
The Brand Manager will own the day-to-day execution and long-term growth of the Ownership brand across every customer touchpoint.
This role combines fashion, marketing, creative direction, community building, partnerships, social media strategy, and product launches into one position. You'll work directly with ownership to transform ideas into successful campaigns and ensure every collection feels intentional and memorable.
This is a highly entrepreneurial position where no two days look the same.
ResponsibilitiesBrand Strategy
- Protect and evolve Ownership's brand identity
- Ensure consistent messaging across all channels
- Develop seasonal marketing calendars
- Create launch strategies for every collection
- Maintain brand guidelines and creative direction
Product Launches
- Plan and execute collection launches
- Coordinate photoshoots and lookbooks
- Develop launch campaigns
- Build product storytelling
- Coordinate launch timelines
Content & Social Media
- Oversee Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms
- Build monthly content calendars
- Direct photo and video production
- Create viral campaign concepts
- Work with photographers, videographers, and creators
Influencer & Community
- Build relationships with athletes, artists, creators, and tastemakers
- Coordinate influencer gifting
- Manage ambassador programs
- Organize community events and pop-ups
- Grow Ownership's organic community
Marketing
- Collaborate on Meta, TikTok, Google, and email campaigns
- Monitor campaign performance
- Improve customer acquisition
- Increase repeat customer engagement
- Coordinate promotions and collaborations
Creative Direction
- Review graphics and apparel concepts
- Ensure products align with Ownership's vision
- Help develop future collections
- Assist in naming products and collections
- Maintain premium presentation standards
Partnerships
- Identify collaboration opportunities
- Coordinate limited-edition releases
- Build relationships with artists and brands
- Manage sponsorship opportunities
Website & Customer Experience
- Ensure ownershipny.com reflects current campaigns
- Improve customer journey
- Review merchandising and product pages
- Monitor conversion opportunities
- Assist with launch-day execution
Qualifications Required
- 3+ years in fashion, lifestyle, or consumer branding
- Strong understanding of streetwear culture
- Excellent project management skills
- Exceptional written communication
- Experience managing multiple creative projects
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred
- Experience with Shopify
- Experience with Meta Ads
- Experience with Klaviyo
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics
- Adobe Creative Suite or Canva experience
- Photography/video production knowledge
- Experience working with creators and influencers
