Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients following established recipes and quality standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and food prep stations safely and efficiently
- Ensure food safety and sanitizing procedures are strictly followed to maintain a clean and hygienic workspace
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties and seasonal specials based on customer preferences and current trends
- Manage food production during high-volume periods while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Handle food handling tasks including slicing, portioning, cooking, grilling, braising, poaching, and food assembly with precision
- Support dietary department needs by adhering to dietary restrictions and special meal requests when necessary
Experience
- Previous dietary aide or food service experience preferred; experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and recipe adherence
- Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with food safety management practices including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling protocols
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, catering services, and serving in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food production processes required to ensure quality output
- Prior culinary experience involving high-volume production environments will be advantageous
