- Develop and implement tailored speech therapy plans that address individual needs.
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, and social communication skills.
- Collaborate closely healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and support ongoing progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and session notes in accordance with clinical standards.
- Educate patients about speech development, therapeutic exercises, and strategies to reinforce progress outside of therapy.
- Stay current with advances in physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, medical terminology, and best practices in speech therapy.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
- Excellent understanding of physiology, anatomy related to speech production, and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
