Dubois Continuum of Care Community is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable-Medicaid Specialist to join our finance team in DuBois, Pennsylvania. About the Role:
As an Accounts Receivable-Medicaid Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Processing and tracking Medicaid applications, Renewals and related documentation
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of accounts receivable and Medicaid renewals
Analyzing and resolving billing discrepancies and denials
Collaborating with our clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless coordination of services
Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
Responsibilities:
Process and track Medicaid applications, renewals, and related documentation in a timely and accurate manner
Analyze and resolve billing discrepancies and denials, and negotiate with payers when necessary
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts receivable and Medicaid claims
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless coordination of services and billing
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers

Requirements:
1 year of experience or more in accounts receivable, Medicaid applications, renewals, or a related field (preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business) preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records systems (EHRs)
