What You’ll Do:
Curriculum Magic:
- Create and implement an engaging, hands-on curriculum that embraces BELN’s place-based philosophy and Montana Early Learning Standards.
- Plan playful lessons that meet each child where they are — supporting their growth through creativity, exploration, and fun!
- Organize outdoor adventures, field trips, and community experiences that promote environmental stewardship.
Classroom Leadership:
- Keep our learning environment safe, nurturing, and full of wonder.
- Track developmental milestones and share student progress with families and team members.
- Maintain CPR/First Aid certification and ensure compliance with state licensing requirements.
- This unique role acts as a site manager and is responsible for overseeing the school needs and staying compliant with licensing requirements and NAEYC requirements.
Team Collaboration:
- Mentor and inspire assistant staff and volunteers.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and community partners.
- Model environmental responsibility and a love for lifelong learning!
Organization + Communication:
- Maintain daily schedules, studies, and learning plans.
- Keep clear records of attendance, hours worked, and program activities.
- Be a champion for BELN’s mission, bringing our shared values to life every day!
Who We’re Looking For:
- High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA preferred.
- Real-world experience working with children (bonus points for infant/toddler care!).
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- A friendly communicator who can work with all kinds of families and team members.
- Passionate about early childhood education, nature-based learning, and community development.
- Ready to bring positive energy, creativity, and heart to everything you do!
