Looking for more than "just another clinical job?"
Do you love helping people but are ready for something beyond traditional chairside dentistry or routine medical assisting?
At The Center for TMJ & Sleep Solutions NW, we bridge the worlds of medicine and dentistry to help patients overcome chronic pain, TMJ disorders, sleep apnea, headaches, and other life changing conditions. Every day is different, every patient has a unique story, and every team member plays a meaningful role in changing lives.
We're growing and looking for an exceptional Clinical Assistant to join our Silverdale team. We're not just looking for experience. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, strong clinical skills, emotional intelligence, and a genuine passion for patient care.
If you're the type of person who enjoys learning, embraces change, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants to be part of a team that genuinely enjoys working together, we'd love to meet you.
What Makes This Position Different?
No two days are the same.
You'll work alongside providers in both Dental Sleep Medicine and TMJ Therapy, learning specialized skills that most clinical assistants never have the opportunity to experience.
This role combines patient care, advanced technology, education, and clinical procedures in a fast paced, rewarding environment where you'll continue to grow professionally.
What You'll Do:
As a Clinical Assistant, you'll be an integral part of every patient's journey from their first consultation through treatment and follow up care.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcome patients and complete intake, review medical histories, and prepare providers for each appointment.
- Educate patients about sleep disorders, TMJ conditions, treatment options, and what to expect throughout their care.
- Build meaningful relationships with patients through empathy, professionalism, and exceptional communication.
- Assist with advanced technologies including digital impressions, CBCT imaging, cold laser therapy, and other specialized procedures.
- Deliver oral appliances and provide ongoing education to help patients achieve successful treatment outcomes.
- Assist providers with specialized procedures, including PRF injections. Previous phlebotomy experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, maintain equipment, and ensure clinical areas are organized and fully stocked.
- Collaborate with providers and teammates to create an outstanding patient experience from start to finish.
- Support administrative and clinical workflows as needed to keep the practice running smoothly.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate is positive, adaptable, curious, and committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant, CNA, or in another clinical healthcare role is preferred.
- Current clinical certification or registration, when applicable.
- Phlebotomy experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable using computers and electronic medical records.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment while maintaining a calm and positive attitude.
- A team first mindset with a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- A desire to continually learn, grow, and develop new clinical skills.
Our Ideal Teammate
You are someone who:
- Loves connecting with people and making them feel comfortable.
- Brings positive energy to work every day.
- Takes pride in doing things the right way.
- Embraces change and enjoys learning new skills.
- Values integrity, humility, accountability, and teamwork.
- Enjoys being challenged and contributing to a culture of excellence.
- Wants a career, not just a job.
Why Join Our Team?
We believe great patient care starts with a great team.
Our culture is built on collaboration, respect, laughter, continuous learning, and supporting one another. We work hard, celebrate our successes, and genuinely enjoy coming to work each day.
Joining our team means you'll enjoy:
- Specialized training in an exciting and growing field.
- Opportunities to expand your clinical skills and knowledge.
- A positive, supportive, and collaborative workplace.
- Meaningful work that truly changes people's lives.
- A team that values both professional excellence and having fun along the way.
