Responsibilities
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through various channels, conducting interviews, and managing the onboarding process to attract top talent.
- Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the organization.
- Manage employee evaluation processes, including performance management systems and feedback sessions, to promote continuous improvement.
- Administer benefits programs and handle benefits-related inquiries to support employee well-being and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, and HR legal standards across all HR functions.
- Support change management initiatives by facilitating organizational design projects and workforce management strategies aligned with company goals.
- Maintain accurate HR data using HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) such as Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors for effective data collection and analysis.
- Handle confidential information with integrity while managing personnel administration tasks like payroll processing, workers' compensation claims, and personnel records.
- Foster positive employee relations through conflict management, communication skills, and promoting a healthy work environment.
- Assist in affirmative action planning, succession planning, and training & development programs to enhance talent management efforts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management or HR department roles with a comprehensive understanding of employment law in talent management.
- Strong knowledge of HR sourcing techniques, recruiting strategies, and ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems).
- Familiarity with HR systems such as Oracle HCM or Taleo for data entry, payroll processing, and HR analytics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and discreetly.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel data analysis preferred), including data collection and report generation.
- Knowledge of workers’ compensation procedures, OSHA standards, FMLA regulations, and benefits administration practices.
- Ability to adapt quickly to organizational changes through effective change management techniques.
- Organizational design experience along with strategic planning capabilities to support workforce development initiatives.
- Previous experience working with diverse teams on employee relations issues while maintaining compliance standards.
