The Role
The Executive Director (ED) serves as the chief administrator and "face" of Strong Foundation MGM. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED will oversee the day-to-day operations and programming of the Strong Tower Community Center, lead fundraising efforts, and expand our reach through strategic partnerships. This is a hands-on leadership role for a mission-driven professional who is passionate about community revitalization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Work with the Board to refine and execute the organization’s vision. Ensure all programs—from youth sports to senior wellness—align with the mission of community growth.
Fundraising & Sustainability: Lead the charge in securing financial resources. This includes grant writing, cultivating donor relationships, and overseeing community fundraising campaigns and capital projects
Community Engagement: Act as the primary spokesperson. Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, city officials, and other nonprofits to foster collaborations that benefit the River Region.
Operations & Facility Management: Oversee the management of the community center programming including scheduling, volunteer recruitment, and coordinating with coaches/instructors for sports and life-skill classes.
Financial Oversight: Manage the annual budget, ensure fiscal transparency, and provide regular financial reports to the Board.
Program Development: Expand current offerings (After-school tutoring, Financial Literacy, Home Ownership workshops) and identify new ways to meet community needs.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
