We are a Durable Medical Equipment company looking for a delivery technician to pick up and deliver durable medical equipment such as oxygen, hospital beds, wheelchairs etc. to patients in and around the Chattanooga, TN area.
- Delivery of all required equipment to patients, including instructing them on use and safety
- Make sure that delivery vehicle is appropriately stocked, and cleanliness in warehouse and delivery vehicle is up to highest standards.
- Complete delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately and returning the paperwork to the office in a timely fashion
- Assist in cleaning, disinfecting and minor repair of different types of equipment.
- Ensure day to day maintenance is performed on the assigned delivery vehicle
- Maintains a neat, clean personal appearance.
- Must be willing to take on-call shifts on a rotating basis
Requirements
- Must be 25 or older
- Must Have a valid Driver’s License
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must pass drug screen (drug test is required)
- Must be able to lift 80-100 lbs as required on delivery
- Other duties as assigned
