Sales Associate (Part-time) – Hospice of the East Bay Thrift Shoppes

Hospice of the East Bay's nonprofit Thrift Shoppes are more than retail stores—they help support compassionate hospice care for patients and families throughout our community. We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Part-time Sales Associate to work in our Martinez Thrift Shoppe.
This position is scheduled approximately 3-4 days per week, including weekends.
What You'll Do:
- Open and close the shoppe
- Provide excellent customer service
- Work alongside volunteers to support daily operations
- Receive, price, organize, and display donated merchandise
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Retail, cashiering, or sales experience preferred
- Ability to work with volunteers and the public
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

9:30am-5:30pm; 11am-5:30pm
Four days per week 30 hours per week.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
