Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including craft cocktails, wine, spirits, and beer, utilizing your mixology skills and beverage recipe knowledge.
- Operate POS systems such as Square POS and Toast POS efficiently to process cash transactions accurately while providing friendly customer interactions.
- Take food orders, serve meals with attention to presentation and timing, and ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and assist in beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and exciting.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in both bar and dining areas according to health regulations.
- Engage with guests in a lively manner, promoting specials or upselling menu items to enhance sales performance.
- Handle cash handling procedures accurately while processing payments and providing change promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles with a focus on bartending or serving in fine dining or casual settings.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Square POS and Toast POS; experience with cash handling is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in mixology, beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and craft beer familiarity.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail; strong time management skills are vital.
- Basic math skills for retail math, food handling calculations, and cash transactions; familiarity with food safety standards is required.
- Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus; retail math or cashiering background is advantageous.
