Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance practices. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Person will be instrumental in maintaining equipment, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment, including electrical systems and logic controllers.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Utilize tools s to diagnose problems effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules that minimize disruption to operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and the ability to read schematics is essential.
- Experience in welding is a plus but not mandatory.
- Leadership skills with experience supervising maintenance staff or projects are desirable.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the team and documentation purposes.
