Augie’s Café is looking for energetic, reliable baristas who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy delivering great experiences to every guest. Baristas at Augie’s play a key role in preparing high-quality drinks, supporting food service, and keeping operations running smoothly during busy periods.
This role is ideal for individuals who can stay organized, work quickly under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude while serving guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, teas, refreshers, and specialty beverages with consistency and speed
- Take guest orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Maintain a high level of customer service while working in a fast-moving environment
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and order coordination
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, kitchen, and customer areas
- Work as part of a team to keep service flowing during busy hours
- Restock supplies, ingredients, and inventory as needed
- Handle payments and basic cash transactions responsibly
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy café environment
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly during peak hours
- Experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a team
