Responsibilities
- Lead dynamic group yoga classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring safety and proper technique.
- Develop customized yoga programs that align with clients’ goals, abilities, and health conditions.
- Demonstrate and explain yoga poses, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques clearly and effectively.
- Monitor participants during classes to provide individual guidance and corrections as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized studio environment that promotes relaxation and focus.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in yoga practices, physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics to enhance class quality.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages community engagement and personal growth.
Skills
- Proven experience in teaching yoga or related group fitness classes with strong instructional skills.
- Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics to ensure safe practice and injury prevention.
- Ability to design diverse yoga programs that accommodate different fitness levels and health considerations.
- Excellent communication skills to motivate participants and provide clear instructions.
- Background in personal training or sports coaching is a plus for creating comprehensive wellness plans.
- Familiarity with health club or gym environments to seamlessly integrate into existing fitness offerings.
