We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant who is eager to learn and grow within our organization. This position plays an important role in supporting daily accounting and office operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Match purchase orders with vendor invoices and enter data into the JobBOSS system
- Process weekly vendor payments
- Record and reconcile credit card transactions
- Create and distribute customer invoices
- Apply customer payments and follow up on past due accounts
- Perform monthly reconciliations for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and credit cards
- Provide backup support for other office functions, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and assisting with miscellaneous administrative duties
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of bookkeeping experience
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Manufacturing or ERP system experience is a plus
