Wayside House is a 28-bed residential and PHP facility for women ages 18 and older who suffer from alcohol and/or drug addiction. Our treatment program is based on the 12 step model, individualized for each woman.
We are currently seeking full-time Behavioral Health Technicians (Client Advocates) to work in our residential program. Our Behavioral Health Techs and primarily responsible for providing non-clinical supervision to women in substance abuse treatment, acting as a role model for positive behavior and communication. Essential duties include overseeing the whereabouts of clients, assisting the clients with mealtimes, providing transportation, assisting with daily activities, and documenting and communicating client-related matters promptly and accurately. Experience in residential setting is preferred.
Must have excellent references and must be willing to have a level ll background check (including driving history), local background check and drug screening. Must have a clean, valid Drivers License
Education Requirements: Minimum High School Diploma, 2+ years related work experience and Behavioral Health Tech (Behavioral Health Tech)
