I-77 Mobility Partners LLC is financing, developing, designing, constructing, operating and maintaining the 26-mile I-77 Express project as part of a public-private partnership with the North Carolina Department of Transportation. The tolled express lanes run adjacent to the general-purpose lanes on I-77 between uptown Charlotte and Mooresville. I-77 Mobility Partners is responsible for operations and maintenance of all lanes, both express and general purpose, and right of way within the designated project corridor limits.

Under general supervision, assist s in the develop ment and implement ation of the I-77 safety program ; conduct work site safety observations and incident investigations; support initiatives to e ducate and train employees about health and safety regulations and precautions to ensure a safe work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Advises the Operations & Maintenance, and ITS staff on safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of workers as regulatory compliance as mandated by local, state, and federal agencies, including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA ), ANSI , and NFPA.
Assign s , develop s and deliver s training to employees on safety procedures, emergency response, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate reports related to safety, health, and environmental performance.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations, protocols, and/or procedures.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Adapt to various settings, including office, and various outdoor project locations. A sizable portion of time will be spent outdoors on project sites conducting inspections, environmental oversigh t , and providing safety oversight for w orksite job operations .
Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
While implementing safet y measures, you will be exposed to the same hazards you are working to mitigate. The use of PPE will be required to minimize these risks : hardhat , safety glasses, safety vests, safety shoes, and gloves.
