The Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator is responsible for providing professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process within an assigned unit; assesses, treats and care for patients demonstrating an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological maturation process; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Oversees the work of other professional and non-professional personnel.
Clinical Coordinator serves in a leadership role providing resources to employees; assigns patient care assignments; makes patient care assignments and coordinates patient care with other disciplines (social services, case management, etc.)
Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
Experience: 1-3 years of experience preferred
Certification/Licensure: BLS required upon hire or within three months, Registered Nurse License required, Additional certifications unit specific
