Job Overview
Seth's Coffee is seeking 3-5 new employees across all 3 of our locations by the end of July. This job posting indicates the address of our Grand Chute location, but during interview, we will establish which location(s) would be the best for you. Part-time and full-time positions available as we prepare for the departure of a few of our employees who are headed to college at the end of summer.
Starting base wage would be $10-$12/hr, based on experience, plus tips. Tips range from $4-$7 an hour, bringing the pay range from $14-$19/hour.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Handle food preparation and food handling tasks in accordance with food safety standards
- Operate Square POS system for order processing, cash handling, and transactions
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas
- Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff
Skills
- Experience in the food & beverage industry is a plus, but not necessity.
- Authentic approach to customer service
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Strong time management abilities to handle multiple orders during peak hours seamlessly
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order totaling
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced café or retail environment while maintaining attention to detail
