What you’ll do
- Mix and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks with flair and precision
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring their satisfaction
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area while adhering to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions responsibly while ensuring accurate cash handling practice
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure prompt service delivery
- Preform opening and or closing duties, depending on shift worked
- Learn our house made recipes and make them as needed for replenishment
- Stock beer and liquor as needed for supply and demand
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in the food industry or restaurant environment, preferably with bartending experience in a Tavern setting
- Dependability and Flexibility is a must
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and food handling practice
- TIPS Certification must be completed before first training shift
