- Position: PCU Travel RN

Shift: Nights (6:45am– 7:15pm)

Duration: 13 weeks

Unit Details:
-
Must be okay with floating to tele/tele MS/MS. Fast paced units that need clinicians who can work independently.

Ratios: 3-4:1 IMCU and 5-6:1 Tele-M/S with PCT assistance.

Drips & stable vents
-
No vasopressors required
-
Charting: Cerner
-
Pay Package: Estimated $2,000/week (including stipend)

Must live 80+ miles from facility

Responsibilities
-
Monitor and assess patient conditions in the PCU.
-
Administer medications and manage IV therapies as prescribed.
-
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
-
Educate patients and families about health management and recovery processes.
-
Document patient care activities and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
-
Manage equipment and supplies necessary for patient care in the PCU.
-
Respond to patient emergencies and provide immediate intervention as needed.
Requirements
-
Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in the state of practice.

Proven experience in a critical care or PCU setting preferred.

Strong understanding of patient care standards and safety protocols.

Cerner charting
-
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
