Objective
Responsible to build and grow census and quality mix by developing the market and providing prospective patients and/or responsible parties with appropriate information and assistance to choosing the nursing center.
Principal Responsibilities
- Regularly and customarily spends majority of his/her time engaged in growing admissions.
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of the centers products, services, capabilities and physician relations
- Takes active role in morning Kick-Off Meeting
- Meets weekly with Administrator/department heads to discuss marketing issues
- Meets regularly with nursing to discuss clinical service levels
- Evaluates center physical environment through weekly rounds and discusses with Administrator
- Maintains an educated understanding of all payer sources and their impact on revenue.
- Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or assigned at any time with or without notice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, health care or related business field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years direct sales experience targeted to physicians, hospital personnel and case managers preferred.
- Proven success in personally developing referrals for a medical product from health care target markets (physicians, hospitals and case managers).
- Evidence of a local referral network from which to develop referrals.
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior, exhibiting high self-confidence, enthusiasm, assertiveness and a desire to succeed.
- Must be a team player and have the ability to establish working relationships both internally and externally.
- Experience with local community groups preferred.
- Presents professional image through appearance, behavior and speech.
